JUST IN & SOLD 08/21! I never fail to notice that for the price of an Indonesian G&L Tribute or Squier you can get a bass made in Canada from US and Canadian components. That's not putting those other instruments down because I love them as well, but that makes this bass a clear winner. You get an alder body with a great metallic blue finish, Godin special-design P & J pickups and quality chrome hardware all around. The bass has no preamp but it's got pure tone that needs no battery. FYI, I was contemplating putting a Basslines 9-volt concentric bass/treble preamp in place of the passive tone control. I'm still considering it but that would drive the price right up. This has one of the fastest, thinnest necks ever and I think it's actually a fraction skinnier than a Jazz Bass! But even a P-lover like myself can get around on it because it has a great radius. The neck also features some nice birdseye maple! Weighs about 8 1/4 lbs and comes with a decent gig bag,
